Homestudy complete!

In adoption news, we just completed all of our homestudy interviews and documentation. This is one big hurdle we finished, and we are doing our best to complete the rest of the paperwork for the dossier.

The dossier is essentially a profile of our family that is sent along with some legal documents to the Ethiopian government. Once we have completed this next step, we will be on the waiting list for a referral! We are hoping to wrap that up in the next few weeks.

We are so excited to take this next step and see where God is leading our family. We know that there is a special child out there that will fit into our family perfectly. I am beginning to see what a miracle adoption really is, and very similarly so to that of conception! It is a real miracle to see how an adoptive child comes to join a family.
